Job Description
The Construction Superintendent oversees all on-site operations and is responsible for managing projects from start to finish. This role coordinates daily activities, supervises subcontractors and crews, and ensures work is completed on schedule and within quality standards. They proactively identify and mitigate risks, enforce safety protocols, and maintain an organized, efficient, and compliant jobsite throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule
- Enforce compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Communicate project updates with clients, subcontractors, and project managers to maintain progress and address outstanding selections
- Oversee all on-site operations, including supervision of labor and subcontractors and site organization
- Utilize Buildertrend to maintain daily logs and document project progress with photos
- Support project managers using Buildertrend for material orders, bid requests, plan distribution, trade coordination, and deliveries
- Conduct site inspections to ensure timelines are met and quality standards are upheld
- Identify and address safety risks, enforce safety protocols, and manage incident reporting and investigations
- Develop, track, and ensure completion of punch lists for all trades
- Participate in required meetings, including staff, preconstruction, and post-construction sessions
- Provide and maintain accurate “as-built” documentation throughout each project
- Lead safety compliance efforts, including audits and stopping work when unsafe conditions arise
- Track and manage on-site materials, including delivery, installation, and storage
- Inspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure safe operation and remove any defective items from service
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Capable of handling high-pressure situations and meeting tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with clients, project managers, subcontractors, and crews
- Proficient in interpreting construction drawings, plans, and specifications, with solid knowledge of methods, materials, and regulations
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 75%)
- Maintain a valid CDL license
- CPR certification
- Bilingual in Spanish and English

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $75,000–$85,000 not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
