Job Description
The Quality Assurance Specialist supports the Quality Manager in maintaining and administering the Quality Management System (QMS) within a regulated medical device environment. This role focuses on document control, production record review, CAPA support, and audit preparation to ensure compliance with FDA and ISO standards. The position plays a key role in ensuring quality records are accurate, complete, and audit-ready. Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with FDA and ISO standards
- Administer document control processes including SOPs, forms, and work instructions with proper version control
- Assist with CAPA, nonconformance documentation, and tracking corrective/preventive actions
- Review production and lot history records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Support internal and external audit preparation, quality metrics tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or regulated manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and/or ISO 13485 standards
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Experience working with controlled documents and quality systems
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment

The base salary range for this position is $27-29 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
