Job Description
The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to keep operations running smoothly. This role supports conveyor systems, forklift lifts, machinery, and other mechanical and electrical equipment in a fast-paced environment. Strong electrical knowledge and PLC experience are required, along with the ability to perform preventative maintenance, complete repairs, and document work accurately. Candidates with industrial maintenance experience or a background in the rigging industry may be especially well suited for this opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair conveyor systems, forklift lifts, machinery, and related production equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues affecting equipment performance.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and scheduled repairs on production machinery.
- Install or modify equipment, document maintenance activities, and follow all safety procedures including lockout/tagout.
- Support parts inventory, communicate with production teams, and assist with training employees on maintenance procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience; industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with electrical knowledge and PLC experience required.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals and use hand, power, and diagnostic tools safely.
- Experience maintaining industrial equipment; individuals from the rigging industry may be ideal for consideration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, including overtime or weekends as needed.

The base pay range for this position is $52,000 – $62,400 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
