Job Description
We’re seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to support back-of-house operations in a fast-paced, upscale restaurant environment. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the kitchen. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to multitask, and committed to upholding high sanitation standards throughout the shift.
Responsibilities:
• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including floors, walls, refrigerators, and cooking equipment
• Set up, operate, and break down dishwashing equipment
• Ensure proper sorting and organization of clean and soiled items
• Take out trash and maintain clean and organized waste areas throughout the shift
• Change dish machine and sink water regularly and use proper chemical dilutions
• Assist with basic food prep as needed
• Keep dish area clean, clutter-free, and organized at all times
