Job Description:
An established organization is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead engineering and maintenance functions across a multi-site manufacturing and distribution network. This role is responsible for improving operational performance through process optimization, equipment reliability, and strategic capital investments. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of leadership and technical depth, with the ability to guide teams while remaining engaged in complex engineering challenges when needed.
Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and direction for engineering and maintenance teams across multiple locations
• Identify and implement improvements that enhance productivity, efficiency, and operational performance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, uptime, and cost reduction
• Oversee maintenance programs, ensuring effective planning, execution, and equipment reliability
• Support complex technical issues through hands-on problem-solving and root cause analysis
• Lead capital projects including equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and process enhancements
• Identify and implement improvements that enhance productivity, efficiency, and operational performance

• 12+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience in manufacturing or distribution environments
• Proven experience managing maintenance teams including skilled trades and technical personnel
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, automation, and industrial equipment
• Experience driving process improvements, reliability initiatives, and operational efficiencies
• Ability to travel 30–50% across multiple U.S. facilities
• 12+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience in manufacturing or distribution environments
• Proven experience managing maintenance teams including skilled trades and technical personnel
