We are currently seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Technician for a direct hire opportunity with one of our trusted clients. This is a long-term, stable position focused on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC systems—no ductwork required.
Job Description:
As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing HVAC systems within a commercial facility. This role is ideal for technicians experienced in HVAC maintenance, HVAC repair, and preventative maintenance programs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on commercial HVAC systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment issues (electrical & refrigeration systems)
- Repair and adjust HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain facility HVAC systems and ensure proper operation
- Follow scheduled maintenance programs and service logs
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Utilize basic computer systems for reporting and troubleshooting
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of commercial HVAC experience (HVAC technician, HVAC mechanic, HVAC service tech)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in HVAC systems
- Knowledge of electrical and refrigeration systems
- EPA Certification / HVAC-R Certification preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Basic computer skills (work orders, maintenance logs, etc.)
- Must have your own hand tools
