Job Description
The Temporary Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk and serving as the first point of contact for clients and visitors. This role includes handling incoming calls, greeting guests, and directing them appropriately while maintaining a professional and organized environment. The position also provides administrative support to the Family Assistance department and assists with general office operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Answer and direct incoming calls using a computerized telephone system
• Greet clients and visitors, manage sign-in process, and issue visitor badges
• Provide administrative support including filing, organizing, and supply management
• Coordinate with internal teams for facility needs, deliveries, and service requests
• Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with a multi-line or computerized phone system
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation required

The base pay range for this position is $18.00 excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
