Job Description
This role will focus on converting redlined drawings and engineering instructions into finalized documentation. The position requires strong SolidWorks drafting experience and attention to detail when updating assemblies and exploded views. Experience working with technical documentation for mechanical components and manufacturing drawings is highly valuable.
Responsibilities:
- Create and revise engineering drawings based on redlines and engineering instructions
- Update documentation packages required for hazardous location product certification
- Call out parts and make corrections within exploded view assemblies
- Utilize SolidWorks 2023 to develop and update mechanical drawings and documentation
- Use PDM Enterprise to copy, manage, and track design files during revision work
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate degree or Technical School graduate in a related technical discipline
- 5+ years of SolidWorks drafting experience
- Strong proficiency with SolidWorks (SW 2023 preferred); certification is a plus
- Knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 GD&T and its application in engineering drawings
- Experience with machined parts, sheet metal, castings, electrical/mechanical packaging, harnesses, or injection molded plastic components preferred

The base salary range for this position is $35-40 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
