Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) to join a highly skilled hospital-based team in Lincoln, NE. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside interventional radiologists, nurses, and technologists performing a wide variety of advanced image-guided procedures in a collaborative clinical environment
Responsibilities:
- Assist the interventional radiologist during a variety of interventional radiology procedures
- Perform first scrub duties, preparing and organizing instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Maintain strict sterile technique and procedural safety standards
- Practice radiation and laser safety for patients, staff, and self
- Prepare procedural rooms and imaging equipment
- Anticipate physician needs during procedures to ensure efficient workflow
- Utilize imaging systems and documentation tools including PACS and EMR
- Collaborate with the IR team to provide high-quality patient care
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of hospital Interventional Radiology experience
- ARRT (R) certification
- Nebraska State Radiologic Technologist License
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
