Job Summary
One of Houston’s largest government employers is seeking to fill a Community Liaison position for their Health and Human Services division.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as a liaison between the department, school districts & the community
- Promote risk avoidance strategies; provide health education
- Support positive youth development initiatives and will perform other duties assigned.
- Must have administrative skills and strong communication skills.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License to comply with AP 2-2 policy.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, Business Administration or a related field.
- Two years of experience in community organizational work, resource and referral services, or a closely related field are required.
- Professional experience related to the type of work to be performed may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
