Job Description
We are seeking a Packaging Engineer to support the design, development, and improvement of packaging systems for a growing manufacturing organization. This role focuses on ensuring products are packaged efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively while maintaining quality standards and compliance requirements. The Packaging Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and logistics to optimize packaging solutions and support new product initiatives. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys problem-solving, process improvement, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop packaging solutions that protect products during storage and transportation
• Evaluate packaging materials, specifications, and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to implement packaging improvements
• Conduct testing and validation of packaging designs to ensure compliance with safety and industry standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to packaging processes and materials

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Experience in packaging design, materials, and testing within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Knowledge of packaging materials, shipping requirements, and product protection standards
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
