Job Description
One of the premier Healthcare organizations is seeking a Remote Research Analyst to provide research support on various projects. Submit your resume and see what opportunities are available for you!
Responsibilities:
- Clean, link, and prepare large-scale administrative claims datasets including MarketScan and Medicare data
- Conduct data analysis related to health shocks, healthcare utilization, and economic outcomes
- Rigorously test, validate, and maintain analytical code using STATA
- Support research examining healthcare policies, patient outcomes, and economic burden of disease
- Assist with data preparation and analysis for projects involving cancer screening, kidney transplants, and AI adoption in healthcare
- Participate in regular project meetings and present research progress updates
- Collaborate with faculty researchers and contribute to ongoing health economics and public health research projects
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Interest in economics, statistics, public health, or related fields
- Must reside within Texas.
- Must have coursework or demonstrated knowledge in economics or statistical analysis
- Experience with statistical programming software (STATA preferred)
- Strong analytical and data management skills
- Ability to work independently on data cleaning and research tasks
