1.0 PRIMARY FUNCTION:
As an Accessory Division Process and Finish Technician, you bring value to K&B Industries by being responsible for all product end-finish requirements after manufacturing.
2.0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
2.1 Responsible for blowing out all products and ensuring clean I.D.’s
2.2 Introduction to job travelers
2.3 Complete Drifting, Abrasive blasting, phosphate (zinc & manganese) coating, and electroplating on products per required specifications
2.4 Perform painting and paint stenciling on parts and apply preservatives on tubing per required specification
2.5 Responsible for applying the proper thread protectors
2.6 Maintain clean work environment
2.7 Attend required meetings and training classes
2.8 Required to follow all PPE and Safety requirements
2.9 Follow the requirements of K&B’s safety program
2.10 Other duties as assigned
3.0 TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, AND MACHINES:
3.1 Applicable inspection and test equipment designated by the inspection, measuring, and test equipment work instruction(s).
4.0 BASIS FOR QUALIFICATION:
4.1 Education: High School Graduate or GED or Trade School or read and write
4.2 Experience: Prior work experience
4.3 Proficiency Testing: See training below in Section 5.0
4.4 Capability Demonstration: Ability to perform job duties within 90 days of hire
