Job Description
Our client, a leading line pipe distributor in the United States, is seeking a reliable and experienced Order Puller for their Odessa, Texas location on the first shift. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, and managing inventory in the warehouse.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience working with machinery and valves, and will efficiently sort and place materials while ensuring accurate packing and shipping of orders. Apply today to join a dynamic team and contribute to a major player in the industry!
Responsibilities
- Assist in shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards
- Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat
- Organize the warehouse and work area to ensure orderliness at all times
- Wear proper safety equipment and adhere to all safety protocols
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2+ years of experience working with machinery and valves required
- Warehouse experience in shipping and receiving preferred
- Experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, and order pickers
- Knowledge of:
- Flanged valves
- Gate, Globe, and Check valves
- High-pressure valves
- Multiport valves
- Sanitary valves
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings, including background check and drug test
- Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 lbs regularly and over 100 lbs occasionally
- Experience using Sit-Down Forklifts, Stand-Up Reach Trucks, or Pickers preferred
