Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted production operations by servicing and maintaining production machinery, tooling, and facility systems. This role supports all electrical and mechanical aspects of plant operations, including troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment installation. The position plays a key role in maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This opportunity offers development toward a future Maintenance Supervisor role.
Responsibilities
• Perform and oversee preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical (240V–480V/3-phase), mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Maintain equipment logs, service records, and preventive maintenance schedules
• Install new equipment and coordinate with external contractors as needed
• Support continuous improvement efforts and contribute to departmental KPIs
Qualifications and Requirements
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience (240V–480V/3-phase systems)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and machine blueprints
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
• Self-motivated with a desire to develop leadership skills
Preferred:
• Experience training or mentoring others
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
• Plastic extrusion or injection molding maintenance experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Italian)

The base pay range for this position is $58,240–$72,800, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
