Job Description
As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring manufactured parts and components meet strict quality standards and customer specifications. This position supports production by conducting inspections, performing measurements, and documenting results to maintain compliance. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality concerns. Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final inspections on machined and fabricated parts
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
- Identify non-conforming materials and assist with corrective actions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality audits
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
- Ability to work independently on 2nd shift
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening
