Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to perform progressive machining on a diversified line of close tolerance work requiring a varying degree of skill and machining techniques. Diagnose and rectify tooling problems and machine malfunctions. Must be able to perform tool changes and own set-ups. Ability to edit programs is a plus. Work from drawings, specifications and job layouts. Ability to set up, adjust and operate a variety of manual lathes and mills independently is a plus. Ability to use standard machines to verify parts are to spec at start of and within a run. Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instruction. Must be willing and able to help train new employees.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and other progressive machining on a diversified line of close tolerance work requiring a varying degree of skill and machining techniques.
- Work from blueprints, specifications, and job layouts to produce close-tolerance components
- Diagnose and rectify tooling problems and machine malfunctions
- Perform quality checks using a variety of precision measuring instruments
- Ability to edit programs is a plus.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience editing CNC programs, setting up and operating CNC lathes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job layouts
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting as required

The base salary range for this position is $30, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
