Job Description:
Our client, a global supply chain management company, is looking to hire a Warehouse Supervisor. This Supervisor ensures the efficiency of daily warehouse operations and leads approximately 30 team members during the second shift. This role is responsible for supervising selectors and equipment operations while ensuring compliance with company service standards, OSHA regulations, and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Operations
- Supervise 20 – 25 ppl, instruct, and monitor employee productivity and accuracy daily
- Deploy warehouse staff and assign workloads to ensure up to 140 on-time route departures weekly
- Provide coaching, counseling, and performance feedback
- Ensure team members have the proper training and tools to succeed
- Maintain accuracy of operational reporting and continuously improve reporting processes
- MS Office products, Manhattan software preferred
Safety & Compliance
- Lead safety training and enforce OSHA and company safety standards
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness in accordance with FDA and OSHA guidelines
- Monitor interior and exterior facility areas including freezer, cooler, offices, parking lots, and grounds
- Assist with administering random drug screenings
- Delegate cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed
Facility & Process Oversight
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations and maintenance coordination
- Schedule inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors when needed
- Prepare facility for weather-related conditions
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and seminars
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of supervisory experience (or equivalent)
- 3+ years of warehouse or distribution experience
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); Manhattan preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Results-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate teams
- Exceptional customer service mindset
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Flexible with work hours and business needs
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at a desk or sit/stand workstation for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (freezer, refrigerated, dry goods areas)
- Ability to operate a computer and review reports regularly
- Ability to travel to customer locations, other distribution centers, or corporate office as needed
- Ability to lift, tug, or pull up to 15 lbs

The base pay range for this position is $65,000-71,000 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
