Maintenance Technician | 1st Shift; Schedule: 5a-1:30p, M-F | $21+/hr. | Medina, OH
We are currently looking for an individual to fill our Maintenance Technician position at our location in Medina, OH.
What you will do:
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities at predetermined intervals
- Perform basic facility maintenance such as changing light bulbs, ballasts, general office support, etc.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Diagnose problems, repair equipment, and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain clean and orderly work area
- Manage and record work using a computerized PM and Work Request System
What you need:
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of safety protocols such as LOTO, SDS, and OSHA regulations
- Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment utilizing hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to use hand and electric tools
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds regularly
- Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor
