Job Description
One of Houston’s largest counties is looking for a 311 Call Center Coordinator to assist and coordinate all pivotal activities within this department.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work in a 24/7/365 contact center environment
- Must have strong customer service background, with proven leadership experience within a contact center setting with the ability to multi-task
- Will handle managing multiple communication channels (phone, email, chat, etc.)
- Create correspondence utilizing grammar and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment with a sense of urgency, answering calls and switching projects at a drop of a hat.
- Strong problem-solving skills to speak with callers in emergency situations
- Will lead several onsite call center representatives during difficult calls and prioritization.
.Qualifications and Requirements:
- Requires a high school diploma or a GED and or Associates degree preferred
- Bilingual Spanish REQUIRED
- 2-4 of customer service experience is required.
- Must be MS Office savvy
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience within a contact center required.
