Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive electrical, mechanical, and HVAC maintenance across plant and facility equipment within an industrial manufacturing environment. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on technical expertise, and a commitment to safety, quality, and operational efficiency. The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring reliable plant operations and supporting continuous production.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and HVAC maintenance on plant and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC controls, motors, pumps, and production machinery
- Install conduit, run wiring, and support electrical equipment installations
- Weld (Stick and MIG) and fabricate metal parts as needed
- Operate shop equipment including lathes, milling machines, welders, and saws
- Conduct inspections, preventive maintenance, and environmental checks (temperature/humidity)
- Follow all safety procedures, maintain housekeeping standards, and support special projects
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems throughout the plant
- Diagnosing equipment issues and performing timely, effective repairs
- Weld and fabricate components to support equipment functionality
- Operate and maintain a variety of industrial tools and equipment
- Complete routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system adjustments
- Adhere to safety standards, maintain a clean work area, and assist with special projects
