Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing fabrication equipment, material handling systems, and facility infrastructure in a manufacturing environment. This role supports preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement projects to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working in an industrial setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on fabrication and material handling equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on down equipment
- Support facility, building, and process improvement projects
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, jib cranes, gantry cranes, and related equipment
- Communicate with vendors, document work in tracking systems, and attend required meetings
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment
- Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform minor and major equipment repairs
- Ability to read shop drawings and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely (or willingness to train)

The base salary range for this position is $25.00–$35.00 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
