Job Description
This role supports the engineering function by developing and reviewing structural designs for concrete-based systems and components. Working under general direction, the position collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, code-compliant, and efficient designs that align with project timelines and operational requirements. The role also contributes to technical documentation, continuous improvement initiatives, and the overall quality and reliability of engineering outputs.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate structural designs in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and safety practices
- Coordinate and communicate technical information with internal teams and project stakeholders
- Support engineering documentation, design records, and change management processes
- Contribute to operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive information
- Participate in a collaborative, team-focused engineering environment
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree in civil, structural, or related engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- Experience with structural or concrete design preferred
- Working knowledge of engineering design codes, documentation practices, and safety standards
- Proficiency with engineering design software and technical tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure preferred
