Job Description
The Electrical Test Engineer II is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of hardware and embedded firmware systems. This role focuses on developing automated test solutions, executing comprehensive test plans, and collaborating closely with hardware and firmware engineers to identify and resolve complex technical issues throughout the product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans and automated test cases for hardware and embedded firmware
- Design and maintain test automation frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency
- Perform in-depth firmware debugging and analysis directly on hardware platforms
- Test and integrate PCBs, sensors, and communication interfaces with embedded firmware
- Identify, isolate, and document hardware and firmware defects and provide corrective recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support product development and validation
- Prepare detailed test reports outlining results, risks, and improvement opportunities
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- 2+ years’ experience in circuit design, analysis, and electronic components
- Proficiency in embedded firmware development using C/C++
- Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and function generators
- Experience with schematic capture tools, IDEs, and CAD software

The base salary range for this position is $90,000–$110,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
