Job Description
The City of Houston’s Health and Human Services department is looking for an experienced Customer Service professional for a 3–4-month contract.
Responsibilities:
- Review employee timecards and time sheets for accuracy and funding sources.
- Understand timekeeping policies, communicate with supervisors, payroll and grant staff.
- Ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy, excellent organizational and time management.
- Must be able to work independently and have proficiency with spreadsheet and basic data entry tools, with a willingness to learn.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Requires a high school diploma or a GED.
- Six months of administrative or customer service-related experience is required.
- An Associate’s degree may be substituted for the experience requirement.
- All Contingent Workers are required to comply with all applicable City and agency policies.
