Job Description
We are seeking a Revenue Accountant to support our client, a rapidly growing e-commerce consumer products company. This role is responsible for full-cycle accounting with a focus on revenue recognition, merchant processor management, fraud detection, refunds and chargebacks, and cash reconciliation. The ideal candidate will analyze financial data, reconcile accounts, and provide insights to support business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage merchant accounts and payment processor transactions
- Monitor and prevent fraudulent activity
- Handle refunds, chargebacks, and reconciliation workflows
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, journal entries, and P&L analysis
- Reconcile cash accounts across multiple entities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Customer Support) to improve processes
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Experience with e-commerce payment processing and fraud monitoring a plus
- Proficiency with Excel, ERP systems (SAP or similar), and general ledger processes
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

The base pay range for this position is $65,000-$85,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
