Job Description
The Cold Forming Operator performs general production duties within a just-in-time manufacturing environment to meet production and customer requirements. This role involves operating presses, handling tooling and materials, and ensuring quality standards are met through accurate measurements and inspections. The operator supports continuous improvement efforts, maintains housekeeping standards, and assists with machine downtime as needed. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
· Operate various presses and understand press fits while following tooling instructions
· Read and interpret basic blueprints and follow print instructions accurately
· Use measuring tools and optical comparators to ensure product quality
· Track daily tool usage and assist with inventory management
· Perform polishing, fitting tasks, basic maintenance, and assist with machine setups

Qualifications and Requirements:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Good mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and machinery
· Ability to read blueprints and use measuring equipment
· Capability to move tooling and materials as required
· Willingness to assist in all down machines and production areas as needed

The base salary range for this position is $41,600–$45,760 per year, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
