Job Description
One of the premier Endocrinology clinics is seeking a Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant who will perform patient care and assist clerical and clinical staff. If this is your time to make a difference in your community, submit your resume and see what opportunities are available today!
Responsibilities:
- Escorted patients to exam rooms, obtain medical history and measures vital signs.
- Educated and may give directions to patient regarding medication and treatment plan as instructed by physician or physician assistant
- Maintained patient charts ensuring all related reports, labs and information are filed and available in patient records.
- Call in prescription refills.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 6 months or more of Medical Assistant experience within a clinic/physician office setting.
- Have obtained Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program.
- Experience in prescription dosage
- Must have completed High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
