Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the efficient operation of production machinery and facility equipment. The ideal candidate will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and repair equipment as needed. This role requires experience with CNC and manual machines, forklifts, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems. A commitment to safety, quality, and effective communication is essential in this role.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and replace worn or broken parts
- Operate basic machining tools to fabricate or repair replacement parts
- Maintain and repair facility equipment including HVAC, plumbing, and sprinkler systems
- Promote safety, environmental compliance, and good housekeeping practices
Qualifications and Requirements
- One-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent technical training
- 7–10 years of related experience in industrial maintenance
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with knowledge of electrical instruments (multi-meter, Meg-Ohmmeter, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings for machinery and components
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
