Job Description
Leads day-to-day operational activities related to truck check-in and check-out. Coordinates with truck drivers to obtain accurate pick-up and drop-off information and works closely with Sales and Yard Supervisors to manage truck flow within the yard. Ensures a safe, clean, and efficient work environment at all times.
Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate with department supervisors and upper management
- Utilize email to communicate with Sales and Operations departments
- Manage the truck check-in screen
- Monitor and manage changes to orders currently checked in and notify the Loading Supervisor of updates
- Coordinate with Sales on special requests including priority levels, order removals, and expediting trucks
- Process and handle packing lists and delivery tickets
- Ensure all outbound drivers sign out properly and take required truck photos
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned; responsibilities may expand as needed
Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to speak and read English; bilingual Spanish preferred
- Ability to read and understand industry specifications, charts, and tables
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
- Average reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The base pay range for this position is $16, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
