Job Description
The Payroll Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for associates. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to payroll regulations, and a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information. The ideal candidate has payroll experience, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time using ADP
- Review timekeeping, attendance, and payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, errors, and calculation issues
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and status changes
- Respond to associate payroll inquiries regarding pay, deductions, direct deposits, and leave balances
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of payroll experience; ADP experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with union payroll and benefits preferred
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, SharePoint)

The base salary range for this position is $41,600–$62,400 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Final compensation will depend on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
