Job Description
As the Raw Receiving Operator at Roger Wood Foods, you will be supporting the supervisor and assisting with the daily inventory of raw materials (spices, meat, casings) inventory control including rotating and pulling products for production. You will operate a sit-down forklift experience
Responsibilities:
- Unload trucks efficiently and effectively
- Make sure goods are stored in the correct area of warehouse / cooler and rotated properly
- Move raw materials to processing and storage areas of plant
- Service and make minor adjustments to the forklift
- Must check dock plate and trailer for any deficiencies
- Ability to unload trucks without damaging the product or racks
- Must be able to pull product for Grinding and Smoke Meats and put away at the end of the day
- Keeps the cooler, freezer, and spice warehouse well kept
- Follow all Safety, GMP’s and SSOP’s procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Sit-Down Forklift experience
- Ability to work in a cold or hot environment for a long period of time.
- Attention to details and understand sanitation principles.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and procedure manuals.
