Job Description
As an assembler, you will perform a variety of jobs, fitting together manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or complete products. These products can be mechanical, electrical, or a combination of both.
Responsibilities:
- Able to operate assembly equipment such as rivet machines, assembly presses, and power tools.
- Physical ability to do work requires frequent standing, sitting, and bending, as well as pushing, pulling,g and lifting to 30lbs. frequently.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations, dimensions,s and tolerances
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 1-2 years’ experience in assembly in a manufacturing environment.
- Responsible for the quality of the assemblies produced.
- Able to operate assembly equipment such as rivet machines, assembly presses, and power tools.
- Perform first piece inspection to ensure overall quality.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, micrometers, and a ruler to produce parts.
