Job Description:
A power generation services organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of complex field projects, including turbine outages, and large-scale power plant work. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers and carries full accountability for project delivery, financial performance, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end execution of assigned power generation projects from planning through close-out
- Serve as the primary customer point of contact and manage contractual deliverables
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and risk controls
- Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor project costs, KPIs, and margins to ensure financial performance
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Drive issue resolution, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- 5+ years of project management or project lead experience in power generation or process industries
- Knowledge in steam/gas turbines
- Strong experience managing schedules, budgets, contracts, and field teams
- Ability to operate effectively in safety-critical, field-based environments
- Proficiency with MS Office; MS Project and/or Primavera preferred
- Authorization to work in the United States
