Job Description
The Manual Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient, high-quality output. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery
- Perform quality inspections using micrometers and calipers
- Maintain production efficiency and product quality
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
- Learn and operate additional machines as production needs change
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to perform basic math
- Clean and valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. on a non-continuous basis
- Experience reading micrometers and calipers preferred
