Job Description
As a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor, you will oversee production and packaging operations within a bakery environment, ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality and food safety standards. This role is critical to maintaining on-time service to sales while upholding our commitment to the creation of certified, high-quality baked goods.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate employees engaged in production and packaging operations.
- Lead, coach, train, and develop employees to maximize productivity and minimize operating costs.
- Direct daily workflow within the production and wrap departments.
- Ensure products meet quality specifications and food safety standards.
- Report and take corrective action to prevent food safety, quality, or legality issues.
- Follow and enforce programs outlined in the Food Safety and Quality Manual to support FSSC 22000 compliance and third-party audits.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Prior bakery and supervisory experience required.
- Strong foundation in food processing manufacturing; baking experience strongly preferred.
- Union plant experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, and train employees in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills, people management skills, and safety awareness.
- Working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

The base salary range for this position is $25/hr.+, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
