Job Description
The Lead Powder Coat is responsible for enforcing company policies and procedures while overseeing daily powder coating and production activities to meet established production goals. This role coordinates work schedules and assignments, monitors equipment and processes for quality and compliance, inspects materials for defects, and sets up or adjusts machines as needed. The Lead Powder Coat also trains employees, interprets blueprints and job orders, analyzes production data, and ensures safe, efficient operations, requiring prior manufacturing leadership and powder coating experience.
Responsibilities:
- Enforce company policies and procedures while leading daily powder coating and production operations to meet established production goals.
- Coordinate employee work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to ensure efficient workflow and on-time output.
- Monitor powder coating processes and equipment, inspect materials and finished products, and ensure quality, safety, and compliance with standards.
- Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot machines and equipment to maintain optimal production performance.
- Train and support employees, interpret blueprints and job orders, and review production data to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Prior lead or supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment, with the ability to direct teams and manage daily production activities.
- Proven powder coating experience, including process control, quality inspection, and equipment setup or adjustment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, production schedules, and quality standards.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices, equipment operation, and process monitoring to ensure efficient and compliant operations.

The base pay range for this position is $22-$24/hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
