Job Description
Join a highly respected equipment service operation as a Diesel Mechanic–senior , overseeing the shop’s daily operations. You’ll lead and support a team of technicians while conducting diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines, forklifts, and heavy equipment. This role is ideal for an experienced mechanic who thrives in a hands-on, leadership-driven environment and is committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
· Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel engines and hydraulic systems
· Oversee shop operations and assist in training technicians
· Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain service records
· Operate and inspect heavy equipment to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards
· Use tools and diagnostic equipment to dismantle, reassemble, and test machinery

Qualifications and Requirements:
· Minimum 5 years of diesel mechanic experience
· Diesel Mechanic Certification required
· Working knowledge of DOT rules, hydraulic systems, and diesel diagnostics
· Must pass a background check and drug screen
· Strong safety record, team-oriented mindset, and reliable transportation
· Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends (average 45-hour work week)
