Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at our busy warehouse. The ideal candidate will help ensure a safe, clean, and pleasant working environment, supporting warehouse operations while following company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, and sweeping warehouse floors
- Sanitize surfaces and high-touch areas
- Empty trash cans and replace liners throughout the facility
- Handle minor spills or messes quickly to avoid safety hazards
- Dust and clean windows, vents, and light fixtures as needed
- Follow cleaning schedules and complete daily checklists
- Ensure safe use and proper storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Comply with safety procedures, especially around equipment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior janitorial or warehouse cleaning experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Comfortable working in cool environments
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, and stand for long periods
- Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
Work Environment:
- The warehouse may have varying temperatures,
- Noise levels are moderate, typical of a busy warehouse
