Job Description
The County Attorney’s Office is seeking several skilled and professional Holiday Event Clerks to assist with providing exceptional customer service during the Holiday season.
Responsibilities:
- Perform minor office moves for HCAO at 1019 Congress and 1010 Lamar.
- Assist with planning, setting up, and preparation for holiday and special events under the direction of the Event Coordinator.
- Support office holiday decorating and theme implementation.
- Serve as an attendant at the main event checkpoint.
- Issue name tags and assist with guest check-in.
- Distribute holiday items or giveaways to employees as they depart events.
- Manage event flow, directing attendees to designated stations or attractions.
- Perform basic maintenance duties as needed.
- Assist with event breakdown and cleanup.
- Take inventory of event materials; pack, organize, and store all items post-event.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with the public, staff, and stakeholders.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Resourceful, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in daily decision-making.
- Willingness to occasionally work extended hours to meet operational needs.
Education and Experience
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Minimum of one to two years of Customer Service
