Job Description
The Regional EHS Manager leads environmental, health, and safety programs across multiple facilities within the western region, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations. Based in Houston, TX, this role oversees five EHS Managers and partners with site leaders to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and promote a strong safety culture. The ideal candidate combines strategic leadership with hands-on expertise to drive continuous improvement, sustainability, and employee well-being.
Responsibilities
- Lead multi-site EHS compliance programs and ensure alignment with company standards.
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Deliver EHS training and promote proactive employee safety engagement.
- Investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee emergency preparedness, response plans, and sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years’ progressive EHS experience, including regional or multi-site management.
- Proven ability to lead EHS teams and influence across organizational levels.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and state/local safety regulations.
- Experience in warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing environments required.
