Job Description:
As a CNC Operator, you will become a vital contributor to the dynamic world of vehicle manufacturing with a prominent industry leader. Your expertise will play a crucial role in shaping the future of automotive innovation. Perform all phases of operation, programming, maintenance, and repair, of CNC machinery, including but not limited to CNC Router, Plasma machines, Omal and Edge Bander. Operate computer numerical control to fabricate parts. Loads parts in machine, cycles machine, detects malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged cutting tools. Run production lots, communicate with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintains safe, organized and clean work environment.
Your New Role:
- Machine operation: Load work order files, operate CNC routers (and potentially plasma, Omal, and edge bander machines), and cycle the machine through production runs.
- Troubleshooting: Detect malfunctions in machine operations, such as issues with cutting tools, and perform basic mechanical adjustments.
- Quality assurance: Inspect finished parts for compliance with workmanship and quality standards, and complete quality and timekeeping records.
- Maintenance: Stay current with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) for the equipment.
- Safety and housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhere to all safety policies and use required PPE, and handle hazardous waste appropriately.
- Collaboration: Communicate with co-workers and interface with engineering for programming, setups, and production runs.
What You Need:
- 1-3 years previous experience with CNC Operations
- Must possess mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills
- Ability to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job
- Understand and carry out verbal and written directions in English
- Prescreen testing required

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $20.00-$23.00 hourly not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
