Job Description
Step into the exciting world of semiconductor manufacturing! As a Wafer Process Technician, you will support the manufacturing of compound semiconductor devices (e.g., InP, GaAs). The ideal candidate will work in a cleanroom environment, operating and maintaining fabrication equipment, handling wafers and chemicals, and ensuring process integrity across key production steps
 
Responsibilities:
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to conduct manufacturing activities of compound semiconductor wafers in cleanroom conditions.
- Perform manufacturing tasks on high-tech and delicate equipment for semiconductor manufacturing, e.g., track coater, PECVD, grinder, AFM, SEM, WI, confocal microscope, robot, etc.
- Work on wet benches or automatic wet tanks. Handle chemicals or chemical solutions for manufacturing purposes and dispose the wastes, e.g., acids (BOE, H2SO4), base, solvents, photoresists, etc.
- Support equipment maintenance by performing routine PM (e.g., chamber clean) and equipment checks.
- Identify deviations and discrepancies during process, document and report, and assist with investigation.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate degree/technical diploma or above in a science or engineering-related field is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing industries, especially semiconductor industry, is preferred.
- Basic computer and Office skills.
- Steady hand. Strong attention to details.
- Follow supervision and instructions. Good communication and teamwork. Good time management, multi-tasking, and organized.

The base pay range for this position is $18.50 to $25.00 , excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
