Laser/Punch Operator | Pay: $14-17.00 per hour | Monday- Thursday 2nd shift 2:30pm – 1am

Play a critical role in serving the commercial, agricultural, and defense industries when you become a Laser/Punch Operator for a custom fabricator of metal solutions in Lake Mary, FL. You will operate computer-controlled laser or punch machines to produce blanks for manufacturing operations or as finished flat parts.
Your New Role:
- Read production paperwork to determine specified requirements to manufacture
- Check parts using calipers, micrometers and height gauges
- Will load program into control to run correct parts and quantities
- Quality assurance: remove cut pieces from sheet and examine for defects associated with punching including edge quality and surface nonconformities
- Perform basic setups involving prewritten programs
What You Will Need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years in operating a laser/press machine within a manufacturing setting
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
