Wide Format Machine Operator – Long Term Contract | North Charlotte 28262 | 3rd Shift | Sunday – Thursday 10:30p – 6:30am |$18.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Prepare press for use by loading paper stock and adjusting for size, setting feedboard, side guides, register board, and delivery mechanism, and loading ink
- Maintain the press paper supply during the press operation
- Maintain press ink levels, feeder load level, and feeder operation
- Read and understand job tickets and corresponding information to assemble materials for jobs
- Assist in completing preventive maintenance
- Restock supplies from previous jobs, clean equipment, and work area
Qualifications or Requirements:
- Prior printing experience preferred, preferably in a high-volume commercial environment
- Excellent math, reading, and documentation skills, along with computer experience
- Ability to read a tape measure, understand basic printing skills, and have a good eye for color
- Must be able to operate a pallet jack
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with various individuals such as supervisors, managers, staff, and peers
- Good judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and lift objects up to 50 lbs. frequently
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Adherence to all established safety and housekeeping standards

The base pay range for this position is $18 per hour. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
