Job Description
This role leads and supports a team responsible for maintaining and repairing municipal water and sewer infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Supervise water/sewer crew operations and ensure safety and efficiency
- Perform and oversee water main repairs, system flushing, and hydrant maintenance
- Operate and train staff on skid steers, mini excavators, and related equipment
- Maintain inventory and schedule preventive maintenance
- Keep detailed records, prepare reports, and ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years’ experience in municipal water/sewer systems; 1+ year in a supervisory role
- Skilled in operating light to heavy equipment
- Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License or CDL
- TCEQ Class C Water License
