Job Description
As a Teller, you’ll be the face of the credit union, responsible for delivering exceptional service to members while maintaining accurate financial records and transactions. You’ll support everyday banking needs such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and account inquiries. This role requires attention to detail, professionalism, and a working knowledge of financial products and procedures. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people and thrives in a fast-paced financial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet members and provide prompt, courteous service and transaction processing
- Receive and verify cash/check deposits and process withdrawals
- Promote and explain credit union services including loans and certificates
- Process mobile deposits, night depository bags, and consumer loan payments
- Balance cash drawer daily, report discrepancies, and ensure workstation readiness
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience at a credit union or bank
- Strong cash handling experience required
- Experience with Teller Cash Recyclers preferred
- Familiarity with DNA banking systems a plus
- Ability to perform under pressure with accuracy and professionalism
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse member base

The base pay range for this position is $37 ,440 – $41,600, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
