Tax Manager
An outstanding insurance and financial services organization in Des Moines is looking to add a Tax Manager to their team. In this highly visible role, you will have an integral part in the entire tax function within this piece of the organization. No silos on this team! You get to do tax provisions, compliance, tax planning, returns, and indirect tax!
WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT THIS TAX MANAGER OPPORTUNITY?
- Direct Hire
- Onsite or Hybrid – MUST be within 50 miles of Des Moines, IA
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM – flexible hours as needed
- $140,000 to $150,000 with flexibility depending on experience – PLUS bonus!
DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE TAX MANAGER ROLE?
- Min 6 years of experience in tax – insurance tax accounting experience is REQUIRED
- CPA big plus
- STAT accounting experience
- Excellent communicator and team player
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Tax prep for the largest insurance company within the group
- Domestic and international reinsurance within tax domains
- Excise, indirect, and tax provisions
- Yearend reconciliation
