The Reserves Network has partnered with an Omaha, NE company that is looking to add a structural engineer to their team. This company provides engineering and construction services to industry leaders. This versatile role will have an exciting workload in multiple industries including power, mining, renewable fuels, ag processing, and food & beverage.

- Pay of $115-$125k based on experience
- Monday- Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
- Minimal travel 90% of travel will be same day back travel

Your new role as a structural engineer:
- Understand project technical requirements and assess engineering effort required to meet client objectives.
- Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering methods and principles to the design and modification of industrial facilities.
- Guide designers in 3D modeling to develop safe and effective models.
- Provide material take-offs and assist in estimating materials, labor, and engineering efforts to determine project feasibility.
- Support the cultivating of relationships with customers and earn business by providing impeccable service and prompt responsiveness.
- Willingness to assist with business development in generating new customer opportunities and leveraging networking connections.
- Provide value engineering in designs to help compete for growth in the industry.
What you need as a structural engineer
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering from an accredited engineering program
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Nebraska
- Additional PE licenses in Iowa, Missouri, and/or Kansas are preferred
- 10+ years of related work experience
- Proficiency in MS Office®, Bluebeam®, and relevant engineering and project management
- applications
- Experienced in 3D model computer software for structural analysis
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to travel to and perform ambulatory tasks at industrial facilities and construction sites
- Experience in agricultural processing, renewable fuels, food & beverage, power generation, and mining is preferred
