Our client is seeking a Senior Patient Account Representative to support their hybrid team in reviewing and maintaining account receivables for personal injury lien cases. In this role, you’ll work closely with patients, attorneys, and insurance carriers to verify benefits, update accounts, and resolve outstanding balances. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced medical setting and is highly skilled in collections and documentation.

Responsibilities:
• Verify patient and guarantor demographics, employer info, and insurance coverage dates
• Collect and maintain lien receivables while ensuring compliance with settlement guidelines
• Communicate with patients, attorneys, and carriers to resolve and negotiate accounts
• Analyze billing and denial documents, making corrections and adjustments as needed
• Update financial and patient class data and post detailed memos in the system

Qualifications and Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in medical collections or equivalent, including bad debt collections and experience with collection agencies
• Above average verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic PC operations
• Knowledge of medical terminology
